The highly anticipated Hockey Helps the Homeless (HHH) event is coming to Newfoundland and Labrador for the first time! On May, 2025, Paradise Arena will host this exciting charitable hockey tournament in support of Choices for Youth, an organization dedicated to helping vulnerable and at-risk youth break the cycle of poverty and homelessness.
With a mission to change lives through raising funds and awareness for homeless , Hockey Helps the Homeless , will feature up to ten teams, with 16 players each- including one NHL or Olympic player per team. This extraordinary event will give hockey enthusiasts the unique opportunity to hit the ice alongside hockey legends while raising to provide critical support to those who need it most

This is more than just a game- it’s an opportunity for players, business, and communities to come together and make a tangible difference. The funds raised will support essential services through Choices for Youth, providing housing, employment, and mental health resources for vulnerable youth.
Do you want to skate with an NHL Alumni, support a great cause, and be part of something special? Registration for the tournament is now open! Each team will require sponsorship and fundraising, with a goal of $600 per player and a registration fee of $150.
